Winter- Part 2

Brrrr!! This week was so cold! We continued learning about winter and talked a great deal about arctic animals.

In case, you haven’t gotten the chance to see our van Gogh “Snowy Night” paintings, they are hanging in the gallery outside the office.IMG_2714

Our letter of the week was “W”- we talked about words that begin with the letter and practiced writing.

Our class was totally absorbed listening to the book “Brave Irene”- we talked about our fears and facing them.

We reviewed colors and are practicing reading the color words.

It was SO COLD that we didn’t get a chance to go outside a few days. But we had so much fun indoors!
