We have been super duper busy here learning and celebrating!
We have moved on from signing in with our names to writing sentences.
We learned a special poem for Mommy…
… And had a special Mother’s Day Shabbat program.
We have been challenging ourselves by cutting out shapes that keep getting smaller and smaller- perfecting our fine motor skills more and more!
We learned and practiced the letter “K”.
We worked with Ms. Amanda in the garden and can’t believe how much the vegetables, plants and flowers have grown since we planted them at the beginning of the year!
We worked on learning our vowels, and the letter “B”.
Ms. Victoria from Mark Spivak came to do a Tumbling class- it was an awesome obstacle course that we successfully completed!
In Jewish Studies we learned about Israel.
In class, it was Israel ALL WEEK LONG! We learned about Yom Ha’Atzmaut- Israel’s Independence Day! We learned Hebrew words and Hebrew songs.
We made Israeli flags.
We built the Kotel– Western Wall- out of blocks…
We did math with Israeli symbols…
… And we wrote letters to Israeli soldiers that Ms. Suzie will hand deliver when she visits this summer!
We went through security at “El-Al”…
… We sat on our flight to Israel…
… And then had a BIRTHDAY PARTY for Israel in our class.
Happy 68th Birthday Eretz Israel!!
