WEEKLY NEWS! OCTOBER 29, 2012

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK:  This was a busy week!  We read 16 Runaway Pumpkins.  We did many activities related to pumpkins.  We held a pumpkin and wrote down words that described the pumpkin.  We measured how tall the pumpkin was.  We painted, our own pumpkins and then measured how wide they were.  We also made a pumpkin out of a roll of toilet paper.  Our other highlight of the week was when we went the day school.  We met with the middle school science teacher , Mrs. Burkhardt and made slime!  The children had a blast and they got to bring their slime home with instructions, so you can do this at home.  Go to our website to see the video of this wonderful experience!  During Discovery Studio with Mr. Greg, we made paper!  In Hebrew class we talked about Isaac and Rebecca.

JUST A REMINDER:  Picture day is coming soon.  Our picture day is scheduled for Thursday, November 15th for individual photos and Friday, November 16th for our class photo.  Please be sure you have turned in your order form.  If you would like your child photographed with his/her sibling in the preschool or day school, please send in a note with the request so that this can be coordinated.
