WEEK OF MARCH 4, 2013

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: We talked about the farm this week and read many books related to the farm.  We drew our favorite farm animal, we estimated how many “cows” it would take to get from the farmer to the barn and we read a new book called At the Farm.  Be sure to have your child read it to you this weekend.  Mr. Greg comes to our room on Mondays and we have a great time with him.  Last week in our Discovery class, we used our five senses to look, touch, hear and smell different items that were in the room.  In Jewish Studies, we are getting ready for our big  Model Seder, which will take place on Friday, March 22 @ 11:00am.  We continue with our math baskets on Fridays. Did your child tell you about our garden?!?  We picked a LARGE carrot.  We washed it and ate it with our lunch, it was yummy!
