Dear Tzeeporim families:
This week is the penultimate week of VPK for your littles! We miss them already, and truly adore each and every one of your babies.
Last week we spelled small words in shaving cream on the tables, organized our classroom, sang songs in preparation of the Moving Up ceremony, and celebrated Shavuot during the Bikkurim festival.
This week the children practiced their songs a lot! They are getting really good at timing, using their projection voices, and lining up in the correct order.
We are also wrapping up lots of projects, including writing sheets, keepsakes, and other games to send home. It’s sad how quickly the year goes by!
On Friday, we celebrated our very last Shabbat together for the year! It was bittersweet. Speaking of sweet, we also celebrated Zachary Setzer’s 5th birthday in the garden. His mother brought supplies for a sundae party for both classes! Thank you, Zachary’s mom!
After that, Arseniy’s dad came to “school us” on the rules of chess. He introduced the game, the pieces, their functions, and the goal: to capture the opponent’s king. The girls liked to hear that the queen was more powerful than the king. This was a very special visit that the children throughly enjoyed- thank you, Arseniy’s dad!
Remember that our LAST DAY and performance is June 2. The big ceremony begins in the auditorium at 10:30. All are welcome!
Ballet parents: please look for an important email from me regarding the recital on June 2.
