Chag Sameach from Tzeeporim 1! we had a great week preparing for Sukkot. We hope you have already had a chance to do a mitzvah and enjoy sitting or having a meal in a sukkah. Our class visited the Goldman Sukkah where we hung some beautiful decorations and listened to a story from Morah Miriam.
Our letter of the week was F, and during snack, many of us discovered we could make letters and numbers out of pretzels!
This week, Ms. Heather came to our classroom. We created wildflower seed stars to welcome the Jewish New Year. These went home with the students on Wednesday, so be sure to plant them soon!
Last week, we learned how to weave on a small loom. This week, we continued to use our fine motor skills as we worked on a large loom.
We love painting! During centers, we brought out our easel and put on some classical music. We created some colorful and inspired masterpieces! Some of the paintings became fruit to decorate the sukkah.
Enjoy photos of our free play time! When we play together, we are building empathy for others, learning to work together for a common goal, and feeling proud of our accomplishments!
We are looking forward to another fantastic week! See you Monday!
