We’ve been super busy this week, preparing for all of wonderful events that are occurring in the next few weeks. Learning about the Pilgrims and the Indians, and discovering what makes them similar and different from each other. In addition, to finding out how different it was back then, compared to now! One day during a discussion, I asked the students what kind of clothes do the Pilgrims have on…the class loved one response by a student, “They have on old washed up clothes!”
A BIG thank you goes out to Nina’s mom, for being our Mystery Reader this week. She surprised all of the students, with reading “Miss Nelson is Missing” and “Mrs. Spitzer’s Garden.” Plus, she donated two books to our library center, for us to be able to read and enjoy with our friends!! 🙂
At the end of October we planted in our little rectangle garden. All of the students were able to dig a small hole to put our seeds in and then water. Now, almost a month later, after we’ve watered it every other day…it now is growing really tall. *Ask your child about what all we’ve been doing in the garden, lately!* They all love being able to go and check on the progress of our garden, as well as filling up a watering can and watering the garden! Lots of love is being put into our little garden! 🙂
We’ve been practicing really well, the past few weeks on our Hanukkah Program! We are so excited to be able to perform for everyone on Monday, December 2nd, at 5:30! We can’t wait! 🙂
Have a wonderful rest of the week!
Ms. Ashley & Ms. Robin 🙂
